Graduation

Last week Carson ended his preschool career and promptly woke up the next morning wanting to know if it was summer, because we all know what happens after summer. . . KINDERGARTEN! I have really enjoyed doing co-op preschool the last two years with Carson and getting to be a part of his learning while putting my college degree to good use. We have been blessed with some great friends who have shared in his early education and have spent many dedicated hours (and an immense amount of love and patience) with him and his preschool buddies. When he started reading at the beginning of 2008 I attributed much of it to the other "village moms" who are helping to raise my children.

Here are the preschool friends with their "dragon's egg nest" in our forest of a yard. Don't ask me what it's all about; you've got to have an imagination of a 4 year old to play!

What darling cupcakes - very clever Kate!! So next comes Kindergarten and the "public school" system. Get ready for the list of naughty words that will magically appear out of nowhere (the other inevitable "education")!

Those cupcakes look awesome! Mitchell just graduated from preschool too. It's kind of sad and fun at the same time. I just can't believe kindergarten is approaching so fast.
