A Jedi, a conductor and a super hero (oh my!) All 3 costumes for under $15, that's my kind of Halloween!

Sorting, trading and scarfing the loot, brings back some good childhood memories!

Falling for Fall

I've long maintained that I am without a doubt a summer kind of girl. However, lately I've been feeling like fall may be giving summer a run for its money in my books. Maybe it's because my best bathing suit days are behind me or that getting a great tan while lathered in SPF 50 is impossible or the simple fact the summer here in the Northwest doesn't start until after the 4th of July. Whatever the reason I heart crisp sunny days, college football, the changing leaves and living in a place where pumpkin farms actually exist! I don't especially love soccer season or constantly being hit up for money by the school (that's after buying school suuplies and clothes). And I especially dislike all the anxiety associated with flu shots. Yes, Carson begins the drama the day before the scheduled appointment then screams bloody murder in the office followed by propping his arm on a pillow for the next two days . But throw in a little pumpkin bread and a pair of warm slippers and I'm a happy girl.

Jamison couldn't agree with me more
